A FORMER pub in Barnoldswick has undergone a complete transformation to open as a chapel of rest.

Helliwells Funeral Services took over the old Seven Stars building on Church Street after it was boarded up last summer. After a complete renovation with the firm keen to preserve the heritage building, the newly named Bracewell House is now open. A service of dedication for the chapel was conducted by the Rev. Priestly Brook with other clergy from churches in West Craven.

Anyone is welcome to look around the new chapel and its facilities during the week between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
