Plans have been submitted to Pendle Council for a second micro pub in Colne.

And if approved, the new outlet could open next door to the existing pub, Boyce’s Barrel in New Market Street.

The application to change the use of the former shop into a micro pub has been made by Earby man Oliver Brooks.

He did not want to comment on his proposal at this stage.

The matter is listed for determination by planning officers using delegated powers but if there are objections, it will be referred to the council’s Colne and District Committee meeting on July 9th.
