Moorhouse’s Brewery said cheers to a triple triumph for its Pendle Witches’ bottle range at a glittering awards ceremony.
Three of the Burnley brewer’s five core bottle brews claimed accolades at the fiercely contested British Bottlers Institute Annual Awards.
In its first brewing contest, the recently launched White Witch claimed gold, while judges voted a silver medal for Pendle Witches Brew and a diploma for Blond Witch in their various ale categories.
The internationally contested awards are expected to further boost sales for the brands, which have recently enjoyed healthy sales across a several leading supermarkets in October.
Mark Boardman, Moorhouse’s sales director, said: “To win this fantastic recognition for three of our beers against such fierce competition is an outstanding tribute to our brewers and the quality of the brands. Especially so for White Witch, coming so soon after its launch in the bottle. The awards are a great boost to the brands and will help us further build business with leading retailers.”
