A LANESHAW Bridge beauty could soon become the new face of a cosmetics brand.
Rebecca Catlow (19) has beaten off stiff competition from more than 500 contestants to reach the final of a competition to find the face of Halo beauty.
Halo has searched the length and breadth of the UK to find a woman that reflects its brand values and to take the role of ambassador for its beauty wipes for 2011.
Rebecca was selected for her ability to remain fresh faced, cool and calm while on the go and successfully juggling all the elements of her busy lifestyle.
As a finalist, Rebecca will go forward to the grand finale to be in with a chance of winning a pamper weekend away for two, as well as winning a year’s supply of the face wipes.
Should she be named the Face of Halo, Rebecca will also get involved in Halo’s marketing campaigns. She will be featured on the website, as well as being involved in promotional campaigns and representing the brand at this year’s Vitality Show.
Rebecca said: “I’m delighted I’ve been chosen as a finalist in this competition, with hundreds of women entering I never thought I’d be in with a chance.”
Ian Anderson, for Halo Wipes, said: “Our ‘Face of Halo’ campaign has been great fun and it has been a real eye-opener to see how many women cope so wonderfully with their very hectic schedules.
“Rebecca will be up against strong competition but she certainly has the qualities to represent Halo and everything the brand stands for.”
