Award-winning fish and chip shop Holts in Scotland Road, Nelson, donated a day’s takings and had local celebrities serving fish and chips to help boost funds for Pendleside Hospice.
Burnley manager Eddie Howe and assistant manager Jason Tindall served fish and chips to members of the public on August 16th. The pair proved popular with customers and certainly helped boost the funds raised on the day.
As well as a celebrity presence a signed Burnley football was raffled.
Lee Holt said: “A big thank you goes to Eddie and Jason for giving up their time to help us raise funds for such a worthwhile cause. Also thank you to our all our customers and our fish merchant Smith Sagar for their kind donations.”
