A group of four students from Canada and the USA will visit Barnoldswick this week.

The quartet will be hosted by the Barnoldswick Gospel Mission and are students at Capernwray near Carnforth, a well respected International Bible College.

The group, aged between 18 to 22, consists of team leader Jacquelyn Gartland from the USA and Aaron Mann, Amber Hildebrandt and Alyson Neufeld, all from Canada.

While in Barnoldswick, the group’s busy schedule will include conducting RE lessons in the town’s primary schools and West Craven High School, visiting Cravenside Home for Older People, hosting the gospel mission’s Friday Youth Club, doing drama in Barnoldswick Town Square on Saturday and taking the whole Sunday service.

Peter Elgie said: “We are really excited about the visit of the students.

“They are lovely young people with a refreshing love for God and people. We hope they will be an inspiration to our children and young people as well as the town as a whole.”
