Children at the Little Marsden Parish Centre helped to raise much-needed cash for the East Lancashire Hospitals Trust and Me appeal.

The members of the Boys Club joined with the St Paul’s Church, Nelson, tradition of alms giving for Lent before Easter.

Denise Gee, appeal co-ordinator, visited the centre and spoke to the children about the work of the NHS, soon to be 70 years old, and the different ways it is supported by local people.
