Brave witness helps police catch offender
A courageous member of the public helped police arrest a suspected burglar in Burnley.
The incident happened at 1pm yesterday in Brunshaw Avenue.
The offender was disturbed inside the house by the occupant who gave chase.
A member of the public assisted and the man was detained by police when they arrived on the scene.
Enquiries are ongoing.
