TWO Colne schools have been hit by thieves who have stolen dozens of computers.

Fisher-More Catholic Humanities College was the first to be targeted on the evening of December 29th.

Eight computers were taken from the school, valued at around £4,000.

Park High School was the next to be hit on Sunday evening when laptops worth approximately £1,500 were taken.

The latest theft occurred in the space of just 10 minutes, between 5-50 p.m. and 6 p.m.

This is not the first time schools in Colne have been targeted by computer thieves, in July 60,000 worth of equipment was taken from Fisher-More, Primet and Park High Schools.
