Police are hunting a flasher who exposed himself to two teenagers on their way to school this week.

The two 13-year-old schoolgirls were walking along Brennand Street, off Briercliffe Road, Burnley, on Tuesday morning just after 8am when the incident occurred.

As the girls walked past a back alley the man exposed himself to them and the shocked girls ran on to school and reported the unpleasant incident.

Police have spoken to the girls who have given a good description of the man, who is white and of large build and was wearing a black hoodie and jeans. He is about 6ft tall with short dark hair and stubble and they believe he is in his 30s or 40s.

A police spokesman said the matter is under investigation.
