Four people have been charged with conspiracy to commit burglary in Barnoldswick after a spate of town centre break-ins during 2013.

David Driver (37), of Farholme Lane, Bacup, Donna Stott (25), of the same address, Ashleigh Fell (27), of Prince Street, Bacup, and Ryan Raby (30), of the same address, are all charged with conspiring to burgle numerous properties in Barlick between March and October last year.

All four appeared at Burnley Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, January 9th, and will appear next at Burnley Crown Court on Monday, January 27th, when pleas are likely to be taken.

Driver was remanded in custody while Stott was given conditional bail to live at Farholme Lane and not to contact either Fell or Raby.

Fell and Raby were also given conditional bail, to live at Prince Street, and ordered not to contact either Driver or Stott.

The news comes as a new set of community led security measures were launched in Barnoldswick today.
