Police are hunting a man who exposed himself to two young girls in a Burnley park at the weekend.

The man approached two 12-year-old girls in Scott Park, at around 7-15pm on Saturday, January 2nd, then reportedly exposed himself to them before running off.

He is white, and described as around 5ft 8in tall, of stocky build, aged in his 30s and wearing a dark coloured quilted jacket and black jeans.

DC Shaun Juriansz of Burnley CID said: “This was a frightening incident for the two young girls and we are keen to trace this man. If anyone recognises the description given or saw anyone acting suspiciously in Scott Park around the time of the incident I would urge them to contact us.”
