Police are appealing for information after two incidents of a man offering to give a lift to school aged boy in Kelbrook this week.

Police said that on Sunday and Monday, both between 4pm and 5pm, the same 13-year-old boy was offered a lift in Church Lane in Kelbrook by a balding man in his 40s, driving a small silver or grey car.

Writing on Facebook, PC Nigel Keates said there was also an unconfirmed sighting of the car again on Tuesday.

Sgt Shaun Pearson said: “The incidents are being treated as suspicious at the moment and enquiries are ongoing.”

Anybody with any information on either incident should call police on 101 quoting log number 0934 of May 24th.
