Police are appealing for information to help find a missing Burnley teenager

Shannon Baker left her family home in Burnley at 5-30pm on Wednesday with plans to visit her boyfriend, but never arrived.

Family are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.

She is described as a white female, 16 years old, slim build with dyed red hair, last seen wearing a tracksuit jacket with thick white stripe, black leggings and black Nike trainers.

A police spokesman said: "She is vulnerable and any help you can offer us in locating her would be greatly appreciated."
