Police have charged a 42-year-old woman in connection with the slashing of two tyres on a police car attending the scene of a domestic incident in Parkinson Street, Burnley, yesterday afternoon.

Officers were called to the scene at 12-38pm and, on their return to their vehicle, at 1-15pm, found two tyres had been slashed.

They arrested the woman, who was not connected to the original call, nearby.
