Children at a Reedley nursery got to chat to and play with a visitor – Labour’s Shadow Children and Families Minister Alison McGovern MP.
She went along to Acorns Nursery and officially opened its new extension, before chatting with staff, children and parents.
The additional space has been backed by a grant from Lancashire County Council. The Shadow Minister was joined by County Coun. Azhar Ali, Pendle’s Labour parliamentary candidate.
Ms McGovern said: “I very much enjoyed being here. It was wonderful to see the children enjoying their plays and great to chat to them.”
