Fire crews called to rush hour car blaze

Firefighters were called to a car fire during tea-time rush hour this week.

A car set alight on the Vivary Way roundabout in Colne during rush hour on Tuesday.

Two fire engines from Colne were called to the scene at 5-20pm.

They tackled the flames using two hosereel jets with foam injected into the water while wearing breathing apparatus.

The cause of the fire is now being investigated.
