Pendleside Hospice’s ‘Corporate Challenge’ has been launched.
For the challenge, the hospice is giving participating organisations £50 and asking them to turn it into as much as they can within a four month period – June 1st until September 30th.
Suggestions include dress down days, bake sales, raffles or entering colleagues into one of the hospice’s organised events such as Pendle Pub Walk, Burnley 10K or Canal Walk. All sponsor money raised will be credited to the overall fund-raising amount. Every employee that joins the Hospice Lottery during the qualifying period will also be credited and every bag of clothing donated to the Pendleside Hospice shops from employees will receive a £5 credit to the fund-raising total.
The £50 given to each participating company has been made possible thanks to the support of Charter Walk Shopping Centre. An awards event will be held in October where the winners from various categories will be announced. To enter visit www.pendleside.org.uk or ring 01282 440120.
