Four fire engines were called to a house blaze in Burnley this morning.

Crews from Burnley, Padiham and Nelson raced to Thorn Street at 6-15am when the fire broke out in the loft of the property.

They used two hosereel jets and a hydrant jet to extinguish the fire.

No-one was injured and the cause of the fire is being investigated.
