Festival goers will also be treated to a stellar lineup of music featuring The Lionels, Jeramiah Ferrari, Paris Taylor, Furious Styles, They’re Coming To Get You Barbara and Georgia Barker.

Money raised from the event will go to Pendleside Hospice and organiser Chris Bird said they were hoping to sell 2,000 tickets for the event.

Tickets are £20 with £5 going to the hospice, £1 to Read Football Club and a further £1 to the cricket club. It’s been an expensive event to organise but we want to raise as much as we can for Pendleside so a number of firms have sponsored the bands with us putting half of each fee towards the total for Pendleside.

“It started out as an idea for a small gin tasting event, then we thought about adding a bit of music and now we’ve got this. The feedback has been massively positive, especially in the village.”

The festival runs from 2-30pm until 11pm. Tickets available in store at Ribble Valley Craft Gins and online www.ribblevalleycraftgins.com.
