Laneshaw Bridge man (62) faces historical rape claims
A 62-year-old Laneshaw Bridge man has appeared before Burnley Crown Court, accused of 10 historical sexual allegations.
Kenneth Houston, of Sheridan Road, had his case adjourned until October 26th and was bailed on condition he does not have contact with anyone under the age of 16 and does not contact witnesses.
Houston is accused of four charges of raping a female under 16. He also faces one allegation of indecently assaulting a girl under 16, one count of inciting a girl under 14 years of age to commit an act of gross indecency and four charges of indecently assaulting a girl under the age of 14. All the alleged offences are said to have taken place in the Pendle area.
