Fire crews rushed to Calderbrook Avenue this morning (Saturday) after a car was in collision with a motorbike.

Two fire engines and crews from Burnley responded to the road traffic accident, which happened at 10-38am.

A spokesman for Lancashire Fire and Rescue said: "Paramedics dealt with a male casualty and firefighters ensured there were no remaining hazards in respect of fire, spilled fuel, oil or debris."
