Moor road reopens after landslide

A ROUTE between Pendle and West Yorkshire which was closed this morning after a landslide has reopened.

The Lancashire Moor Road from Laneshaw Bridge to Keighley was closed around 5 a.m. after debris was washed onto the road following overnight rain.

Lancashire County Council highway teams were quickly on site clearing the debris and it is estimated they moved around 30 to 40 tonnes of debris to clear the road, which reopened around 2-15 p.m.
