A minibus was set on fire last night in a suspected arson attack.

Firefighters from Nelson were called to the incident involving a minibus parked up on Edge End Lane just before midnight yesterday (Sunday). Police investigations are ongoing.

A spokesman for Lancashire Fire and Rescue said: "The fire had been deliberately started and firefighters put the fire out with a hosereel jet. There were no casualties. Police were notified of the suspected arson."
