The bundles of joy were born to mums at the Lancashire Women and Newborn Centre at Burnley General Hospital.

Stacey Foley (26) and her partner David Thompson welcomed their second child, a daughter, who is yet to be named, at 3-33am on New Year’s Day. The baby, who weighed 7lb. 11oz., is a little sister for six-year-old Lexie. Care assistant Stacey, of Cravendale Avenue, said: “Lexie is really excited to meet her. I think she was the second baby born here on New Year’s Day. I’m sure she’ll enjoy going out on New Year’s Eve when she’s older and seeing in the New Year and her birthday.”
