It’s a moral dilemma - you find the wad of notes in the street .... do you look round and pocket it quicly, hoping no one has seen you? Or do you “do the right thing” and hand it in at the police station, hoping it can be returned to its rightful owner?

£1,000 could pay off your credit card bills, fund a holiday or buy a new wardrobe of clothes ... but it’s not actually your money ... it could have been dropped by a pensioner who had drawn it out of the bank to pay for home repairs or even a busy mum on her way to pay for the hard-earned family holiday, or a car they’d been saving up for.

What would you do in a situation like this?
