Kelly, who works for the NHS as a GP practice manager in Burnley, is planning to do the skydive in August at the Black Knight’s Parachute Centre in Cockerham.
And while being 15,000 feet high in a plane does not phase Kelly, she admits the thought of jumping out of it is quite scary.

And Kelly (40) is taking on the challenge and raising cash for Pendleside Hospice. So far the total stands at £430.
She added: "A skydive has been on my bucket list for years but I seemed to just never get around to doing it.
"I think the pandemic and the lockdown restrictions have given me the push I needed to do something exciting like this whilst at the same time raising much needed funds for a local charity.
"Pendleside Hospice have struggled during the pandemic because a lot of their fundraising events have had to be cancelled."
