The charity held its first outdoor activity last week with Burnley FC in the Community. The session, on King George V Playing Field's MUGA in Skipton Road was a high energy series of rotational football matches.

These sessions will now be held at the same location, every Wednesday at 5pm until further notice. Those wishing to participate, merely need to turn up on time to join in. These sessions, like most CYAG activities, are free.

The team will be handing out application forms to join CYAG, at every session, as membership brings many benefits. Parents can see and complete the membership forms by visiting: www.cyag.org/join. The annual subscription to join is just £3.

The team has now announced its second activity, expected to start on April 26th with partner, Go Velo – Biking Skills.

Kirsti Grayson of Go Velo explained: “Young people must sign up in advance if they want to access these free sessions. BMX, mountain biking and bike maintenance require strict ratios of instructors to young people.”

CYAG Biking is designed for cycling enthusiasts, of whatever level, and will be taken by qualified instructors.

If young people from Colne Trawden, Foulridge and Laneshaw Bridge want to access the full range of activities CYAG and its partners are offering, initially outdoors, and then indoors, when Covid restrictions are lifted, they must join CYAG.

The application form requires details of parents and their children for their own safety. All the data collected will be stored securely and confidentially.
