Police shut road after serious crash near Padiham

Police are at the scene of a serious crash at the junction of the A6068 Barrowford Road and Slade Lane.

Police have had to close Barrowford Road, at the junction of the A671 Padiham By-pass and Slade Lane at Higham Road.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area.

A police spokesman said: "Please try to avoid this area for the time being to allow emergency services to deal with the incident."
