Members of Kelbrook Ladies’ Guild have been busy potting plants and filling hanging baskets ready for the group’s annual afternoon tea and plant sale this weekend.

Sunday sees the return of the event at Kelbrook and Sough Village Hall between 2pm and 4pm with all proceeds going to Alzheimer’s charities.

As well as the usual homemade cakes, there will be a raffle and a tombola and the chance for children to pot a plant.

Last year’s event raised £255 for Pendleside Hospice and organisers are hoping that another worthy cause will benefit from proceeds this time around.
