Road accident victim cut free from overturned car

Firefighters had to cut one person out of an overturned car after a road accident in Blacko today.

Firefighters had to free one casualty from an overturned car after a road accident this lunch-time.

The accident happened in Gisburn Road, Blacko at around 12-35pm and two fire engines from Nelson were called to the scene.

Fire crews had to use cutting equipment to rescue one person from the vehicle. They also had to ensure there were no remaining hazards in the area from fuel, fire or debris.
