Schoolboy’s plea to find treasured phone
Archie McAneany (11) had been shopping with his mum Kate at Asda in Princess Way at 1pm on Sunday, November 29th, when he left the Motorola Moto G in the car. He returned to the car to get the phone but then lost it between the car and going back to the supermarket.
Mum Kate said he is devasated and the family is appealing for anyone who might have found the mobile to hand it in to the police, Burnley bus station or Asda so it can be returned to them.

Kate said: “He doesn’t use it to play games. He looks at photographs on it. It hasn’t left his side.
“He has been heartbroken since he lost it. The weather was horrendous, it was raining really hard and it must have slipped out of his pocket between the car and the front doors of Asda.
“There are photos of him and his dad on the phone which can’t be retaken.”

“It’s not an expensive phone, I’m just worried that if someone has it and they realise they won’t get much for it they might bin it. We just want to get it back.”
