FORENSICS officers are continuing their painstaking search of a house in Brunshaw which was the scene of a brutal double murder yesterday.
The downstairs end flat in Waddington Avenue was a hive of police activity for most of yesterday as it merged two bodies had been found dead in the flat with head injuries.
Locally, the victims were being named as tenant Neil Gilmore and his friend James Atkinson.
The bodies were discovered at lunchtime on Tuesday, but police believe they may have been dead for up to 48 hours.
