A renowned Spanish guitarist is coming to Padiham to delight audiences with his Spanish Guitar Plus show later this month.
Howard Haigh, who has been entertaining enraptured viewers for three decades, will be performing at Padiham Library on Saturday, September 23rd at 2pm, mixing Flamenco and Classical styles.
A hugely accomplished and virtuosic player of the Spanish guitar, Howard also plays songs by popular artists such as The Beatles and Santana, and genres such as Blues and Folk, adding to the broad appeal of the show.
Speaking ahead of the gig, Spot On’s Lyndsey Wilson said: “Howard is an extremely well-respected musician. This is going to be a fantastic afternoon out for residents in Padiham and we advise anyone thinking of coming along to book in advance.”
An acclaimed composer, Howard takes music from around the world to create an exhilarating and thoroughly enjoyable musical experience as he uses digital looping to build layers of sound, turning the solo guitar into a virtual orchestra.
Tickets for the show are free to Padiham residents through support from the Edward Stocks Massey Bequest Fund, but they must be booked in advance by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
