It was a case of hair today gone tomorrow for a Brierfield woman who shaved off her locks for charity.
Mrs Susan Pratt (58) who works for Lancashire County Council, raised £1,380 for the North West Air Ambulance after undergoing a close shave at Leanne’s hair salon in Burnley.
Mrs Pratt said: “It definitely feels a bit colder now but I’m really pleased with the amount we’ve raised.
“My daughter Victoria Murray works as a paramedic technician for the North West Air Ambulance so I was pleased to help them out.
“I would like to thank all my friends, family and work colleagues who have donated.”
