Drivers are being urged to take greater care on the Ghyll Brow road in Barnoldswick this morning.

The road has been flooded in places between Barnoldswick and Thornton-in-Craven and there have been reports of cars spinning out of control.

The last update on the fire service website stated that a crew had not been out but the situation was being monitored.

Meanwhile in Earby, the town’s flood group remains on alert due to high water levels in Earby Beck.
