A LUCKY motorist was left with minor injuries after her car collided with a curb, before tipping over and rolling along a footpath.
The incident took place on Saturday, 8 p.m., near Primet Hill, where a blue Peugeot 206 heading towards Nelson veered in to a curb forcing the car to roll on to its roof before coming to rest against railings.
James Holmes, of Glen Street, witnessed the collision, he said:
“The car dragged across the road and hit the curb, it flipped once and bounced off the railings.”
Both the driver and the passenger were left trapped in the car, before a quick-thinking James pulled them out.
“My instant reaction was to get them out as quick as possible. We saw the car flip over, and quite a few cars just drove past.”
