Firefighters had to winch a car out of a house wall in Colne after it crashed into it and became lodged.
Two fire engines and crews were called out to Langdale Rise at 6-50pm yesterday after reports of the car striking the cul-de-sac bungalow.
Two people who had been in the car were already out of the vehicle when firefighters arrived. The occupants of the house were uninjured in the incident.
A structural engineer was called out to the scene to assess whether the structure of the bungalow was compromised and after it was established that there would be no further damage to the house when the car was removed, firefighters used winches to remove the vehicle.
