Vietnamese man (20) held over Brierfield cannabis farm
A 20-YEAR-OLD Vietnamese national has been arrested and remanded in custody to appear for sentencing at Burnley Crown Court on Friday, September 14th.
Hau Van Nguyen appeared at Pennine Magistrates Court in Burnley on Wednesday charged with cultivating cannabis at a property on Taylor Street, Brierfield.
He was arrested at around 8-30pm on Monday when a police foot patrol stumbled across the farm after a strong smell of cannabis at the rear of the house.
Inside were around 200 cannabis plants and what police describe as a “sophisticated” setup in several rooms of the property.
