Widespread flooding across East Lancashire

Burnley, Nelson and West Craven are all affected as is much of the Ribble Valley.

There have been several reports of motorists having to be rescued after their vehicles became stuck in flood water.

A car became stuck in flood water on Old Roman Road, Burnley, and also at Barrowford Road, Burnley, this afternoon.
