A woman in her 50s has been hit by a car in Colne.
Emergency services were called to Venables Avenue this afternoon.
Police said a pedestrian was “in collision with a Daewoo Matiz” and that they were called by the ambulance service.
A North West Ambulance spokesman said: “We got a call at 3-26pm and were on scene by 3-35pm. On scene was a rapid response vehicle, an air ambulance and a road ambulance as well.
“It has been suggested the female patient has got a head injury, but the crew on scene have said it is minor.
“She has been taken by road ambulance to Burnley General Hospital.”
