Many congratulations on a most beautiful Remembrance service at Padiham.
I originate from Simonstone so have fond memories and try to get back to pay my respects at this time (great grandfather in the Great War) and how pleased I did make the effort, if just to hear that beautiful voice singing the most haunting song I have ever heard. Others indeed had tears flowing.
My, oh my. I have never heard a voice so beautiful or sing so passionately! It truly added a rare moment of awe to what was already a lovely service, including a poppy dressed-up horse. I think the young lady was called Grace O’Malley when I checked the service sheet. Well my, she’s been graced with a voice from above. Well done to all involved. I’m back again next year. Please God!
