LETTER: Dog fouling on Hodge House playing fields is a major issue

In reply to Mr David Alexander and his environmental team (Letters, February 4th), when do his officers patrol Hodge House playing fields?

I have reported dog fouling and fly-tipping at Hodge House which has been logged at the Nelson office of cleansing.

Bradley Primary School no longer uses the facilities due to the amount of dog fouling. This could be reduced by the replacement of the gates at the entrances to Hodge House.

The fly-tipping from the houses that back on to Hodge House is still continuing but no one from the council’s cleansing department has been near.

I have taken up this issue with Andrew Stephenson to see if he can help.
