I am writing to you to express my sincere sadness at the death of one of Burnley FC’s most loyal supporters, Sheila Bulcock, who died recently.
She will be very sadly missed by everyone at Burnley Supporters’ Club.
She was a regular supporter who would think nothing of setting off on a long journey down to the South of England for a midweek night match.
I knew her very well, as I have lost count of the number of times she would be sat a few seats away from me on the “away” coaches when I was coach steward.
She made many friends and we all regarded ourselves as one of “Sheila’s gang”.
I last sat with her only recently at White Hart Lane for the FC Cup replay at Tottenham, which we lost.
God bless you Sheila.
You will never be forgotten by your fellow Clarets, especially your travelling companions on the Burnley Supporters’ Club’s away coaches.
RIP to a true Claret.
Ivan Street, Burnley
