How will the ceremony take place during coronavirus?

This year's ceremony takes place on 31 July; by that time, social distancing measures and lockdown restrictions of some sort will likely still be in place.

With a ban on large-scale gatherings possibly still being enforced, how will this year’s ceremony – which had already been delayed from Spring 2020 - actually take place?

Richard Ayoade has been confirmed to host the show from a closed studio set, as winners give their acceptance speeches virtually.

"I am as surprised as you are that this is still going ahead," said Ayoade in typically acerbic style.

The ceremony will be broadcast on BBC One.

The BAFTA Craft Awards will be streamed on 17 July, ANDand hosted by actor Stephen Mangan.
