Barnoldswick and Earby both slipped to defeat in the Houldsworth Solicitors Ribblesdale League on Saturday.
Barlick lost by three wickets to Euxton at Victory Park.
The locals had first knock and totalled 185-8. Openers Sajid Akhtar and John Hall both departed by the time the score had reached 37, to professional Francois Haasbroek.
Abdul Saddique and paid man Kyle Marshall put on 45 for the third wicket, before two quick wickets fell – Saddique lbw to Matt Dawson for 24, and skipper Luke Hodgson run out for five.
Marshall added another 21 with John Pickup before the South African was bowled by Chris Pearson for a 63-ball 56.
Pickup ended unbeaten on 39 off 45 balls.
But Euxton, having been reduced to 46-6, with Marshall taking three wickets and Mohammed Saffii two, got over the line with two balls to spare as Jacob Meredith hit 49 not out, and Pearson unbeaten on 48.
Barnoldswick are at Brinscall tomorrow and host Edenfield on Sunday.
Earby, meanwhile, were dismissed for 98 by Oswaldtwistle Immanuel, as Neil Weaver took 6-26, with professional David Crotty top-scoring with 28 off 77 balls.
Immanuel knocked off the runs with two wickets to spare in the 22nd over, as Phil Howard hit 24 and Daniel Sartori added 25.
Craig Walton took 3-36 and Crotty and skipper Matt Haines both added two wickets each.
Earby are at home to Baxenden tomorrow, and travel to Brooksbottom on Sunday.
