In the final, Barnoldswick cruised past Section A leaders Settle to claim the silverware, and captain Umar Saddique was presented with the trophy by Ribblesdale League official Billy Slinger.

It is the first time Barnoldswick have won the competition, which has taken place since 2004, with Great Harwood winning four times, Whalley three, Clitheroe and Settle twice, Salesbury and Read once.

It is also Barnoldswick’s first silverware since landing the Ribblesdale League title in 2012.
