Barnoldswick’s South African pro Kyle Marshall was in sparkling form as he helped his side keep within touching distance of the Ribblesdale League summit.
His quick fire 69, off just 45 balls, helped Barnoldswick to 188 all out away at Brinscall on Saturday.
And he was just as devastating with the ball as he recorded figures of 7-36 to leave the opposition all out on 177.
Sunday’s game at home to Edenfield was a much tighter affair.
Barnoldswick managed to restrict the opposition to 128-2, Mohammed Saffii picking up both wickets.
What could have been a routine run chase was anything but as Barnoldswick lost nine wickets before finally reaching the target.
It was the man again, Kyle Marshall, who helped drag them over the line, top scoring with 43.
This Saturday sees Barnoldswick, now up to sixth in the league, just nine points off the top, travel to Padiham.
