Barnoldswick opened up a 13-point lead at the top of the Ribblesdale League Section B after a five-wicket win over second-place Padiham.
Padiham were set a 176-run target by their hosts at Victory Park, but they failed to threaten that as they slipped to a five-wicket loss.
And Salesbury’s triumph at Feniscowles saw them take up second spot, with Padiham a further seven points adrift with six games to play.
Earby collected only their second league win of the season as they saw off Baxenden.
The Applegarth side looked in trouble as Bash had Earby at 19-5, but Anton Muller hit an unbeaten 72 from 63 deliveries, and Jake Hargreaves added 24 as the locals were bowled out for 138 in the 35th over.
Gary Sudworth took 5-57 for Baxenden.
Earby reduced Baxenden to 22-5, and, despite 25 from Sudworth were bowled out for 72,
Hargreaves finished with superb figures of 7-30.
