Colne Cricket Club identify key roles ahead of new season

Following the AGM and the subsequent formation of a new committee at Colne Cricket Club, a number of key roles have been identified which are essential in ensuring the club progresses.

New chairman Gary Hunt, said: “We are under no illusions as to the task that faces us, but the newly-formed committee are full of positive ideas and are prepared to continue the hard work put in by the previous committee. We have identified some vital roles at our club that require filling ahead of the season, which form an essential part in ensuring the club continues to function professionally throughout the season and beyond.”

These roles, which are all voluntary, range from junior co-ordinator through to tea-room staff through to first XI scorer.

Roles required are tea room assistants, junior co-ordinator, first XI scorer, and general match day assistance.
